Own Goods in Transit

Peace of mind”

If you carry goods in the course of business, for example delivering items for online retailers, you need to make sure those goods are insured, and you wouldn’t be picking up the bill if they were damaged while being transported.

Admittedly some van or courier policies do include an element of Goods in Transit insurance, but only up to a particular value. If you use your own car or van for delivery type of work you definitely won’t be covered.

Let the expert DR&P team know details of the goods to be insured, the estimated annual value of goods sent (sendings), number of own vehicles, and the maximum sum insured per vehicle. If your goods are being carried by a third-party carrier then give us details of the goods to be insured and the maximum sum insured per vehicle.

With that information we’ll quickly identify the right policy to give you peace of mind. Call us on 01704 505430.
